The Boy Scouts, troop 437 held a very successful spaghetti dinner in October 2009

Fat Tuesday Celebration with pancake, french toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc. dinner. We also made crafts, a banner for the church and some to take home

During the recent floods, for 5 days, St Stephen's was an emergency shelter for approximately 60 adults and children. We choose not to show pictures of the victims but you can see the Red Cross volunteers and the sleeping facility. God's work in action

PUPPETS ALIVE FOR THE LORD (P.A.L.M. SQUAD)  Many thanks for their marvelous contribution to our worship service on Sunday.  The ministry is from Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church in Lockport, Il. and the Team Director is Bryan R Rauworth.

The Christmas 2007 Children's Pageant We have 50th wedding anniversaries
The sacristy is decorated for the coming of our Lord. Jesus We have an annual congregation meeting to discuss and resolve church issues. The church council is elected and committee chairs are selected
The sewing group creates quilts to keep our brothers and sisters warm. This year 85 quilts were handmade, are blessed during service and sent to the needy. We confirm our children in 2008
We host an Oktoberfest with the soon to be famous St. John's Singers including Ron Selle, German songs, brats and root beer on tap. We have a very active cub scout troup.
We sponsor Pastor Knutson in South Africa, he usually visits our congregation once a year. We baptize our children
We have Vacation Bible school, a week of summer fun and evangelism for the youth of our neighborhood. This year we had over 90 youngsters attend. Friendship Day 2007 where we welcomed our neighbors to our church.
We have the local food panty and distribute food to local families on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, this is just two of more than a dozen volunteers that help feed our brothers and sisters. In the 3rd quarter of '07, St Stephens averaged feeding 79 families. Our fellowship hall can be used for almost any function.
We held a Fall Fair Oct 07 with 18 vendors and hundreds of shoppers. A bake sale that was phenomenal, the St Stephen's cafe and a Penny Social Raffle Our 10th annual Halloween Party, the biggest and best ever.

We celebrate All Saints Day with Mums, this year there were over 100 plants in church. I wish I had a picture of all the Mums We have guest Musicians from our congregation, I need a better picture though
   
We share our church with Abounding In Faith Church Rally Day

We work to keep the church looking good, the Bollacker family is replacing the roof on the garage. The Benevolence committee visits the local elderly monthly with birthday presents
Sty Stephen's has an active Church Coouncil White Elephant Auction to support out VBS
